Hi, I'm Amy!

I am a Jesus loving, picture taking, guitar playing, dog cuddling, outgoing introvert, and I love spending time outdoors!

I am based in the Dayton, Ohio area, but I'll shoot anywhere in the Southwest/Central parts of the state.

The Reason

In 2019, my interest in photography turned into something I am truly passionate about. It became my main focus in college (I am certified in Photographic Technology), and after working with a local studio for a while, I felt I would be able to best serve others by starting my own business.

Being a photographer has given me the opportunity to meet so many people and to grow in so many ways,
I couldn't imagine doing anything else!

The Shop

People have always been my favorite subject to photograph, but I have never wanted to limit myself to just one specific area of photography. That is where the idea for my shop came from. In college, I worked with black and white 35mm film, as well as alternative print processes. I also studied graphic design.

I want to use the skills I've gained over the past few years to create custom photo cards/invites, as well as pieces of art for you to enjoy.

The Shop will be open for business again soon, so keep an eye out for updates!

What to Expect

While I am very serious about providing the best quality photos for you, I think it is equally as important that your experience be as fun and relaxed as possible!

For most sessions, I will guide you with some poses or prompts, but I also love mixing it up and capturing
those candid shots whenever I see an opportunity! I like to cover all the bases by providing you with a variety that gives you some of the more "put together" photos, along with the little "perfectly imperfect" moments that make up real life.

What's Important

Something that has always been important to me is connecting with each person that I photograph. When you are in front of the camera, you want to be comfortable with the person who is behind it. Your photographer should be someone that you'd enjoy spending time with and feel like you can be yourself around.

If possible, I'd like to schedule a time to meet, either a short video call or in person. This will give us a chance to make sure I'm a good fit for you, and to go over any questions you might have. (Please fill out the contact form!)

FAQ

DO YOU PROVIDE PRINTS?

I currently offer prints up to 11x14! However, you will receive digital images in an online gallery that you can download and send to the printer of your choice if you decide to take do it that way.

Personally, I have had good experiences with Mpix and Shutterfly for printing.

CAN I BRING MY PET?

As long as the location allows pets, I am more than willing to include them in your session.

All active duty/retired military and first responders are eligible for 10% off their session fee.*

CAN I BRING MY OWN?

I do have props available for newborn sessions.

If you're interested in using them, please let me know prior to your session!

Yes, you can absolutely bring your own props! It's always fun to include your own personal touches to your session. Just give me a bit of a heads up so I can be prepared ahead of time.

IS THERE A TRAVEL FEE, IF I'M OUTSIDE THE DAYTON AREA?

If you're within 20 miles of the 45424 zip code, there is no travel fee. There is a $25+ fee depending how far the location is beyond the 20 miles.
